This project is about the fuzzing of everyday objects, or rather about their muffling. As I mold them with wool, they are transformed into silent felt objects, and their usual function becomes hindered by the blurring of their acoustic identity. Sixty objects or so have been « isolated » in this way, and then stringed together in space as words would be to form disorderly sentences imbued with poetic or surrealistic meanings. Sounds of falling objects burst intermittently, sometimes startling the visitor.
