The public library is a place that is characterized, above all, by its call to silence. It is this place of whispers, footsteps in the alleys located nearby, books quickly laminated.<\/p>\r\n

In an armchair near the Book Conveyor crossing the Espace Jeunes; Between the rows of compact discs of the fourth stage; On the work tables of the National Collection; Or behind the service counter on the 3rd floor (see plan of interventions), 7 singular listening situations invite visitors to transform their experience of places and to cross their inaccessible times by attentive and spatialized listening.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

The Sound Pieces in situ<\/em> at the Grande Bibliothèque are both attempts to intensify our presence at the site and imaginary movements between the maybe of it. They come to pay tribute to the spatial, human, and spatial richness of this common space which is the Grande bibliothèque.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n <\/div><\/div>
